New motoring school takes the long view

LEANER drivers in Kent are being given the chance to win a new Mini One, thanks to the new nationwide motoring school, Let's Drive.

Martin Milgate, based in Kent, recently qualified as an instructor with Let's Drive. Anyone signing up for a driving package with him will automatically be entered into the Mini One competition.

Let's Drive has developed a range of innovative learning-to-drive packages, all of which focus upon a ‘motoring for life’ approach. Learners get a free consultation prior to starting, to assess the most appropriate package for them.

Lessons are a minimum of two hours long and the packages available include an All Out Course aimed at learners wanting to take their test in the shortest possible time and the Pass Plus which involves a degree of motorway driving subsequent to individuals passing their test.

Let's Drive instructors encourage pupils to see driving as an on-going learning process. Because they appreciate the difficulties people can face when they start looking to buy their own car, every pupil is given an exclusive Starter Motor Pack full of hints on buying and insuring a car and tips on general maintenance.

Mr Milgate said: “I am really looking forward to working for Let's Drive. They have a modern, forward- thinking approach to teaching. As an instructor I have received an excellent training package and the tuition they offer to pupils is fantastic.

“Pupils find that once they have passed their test they still have a lot to learn, which is why the learning-to-drive packages and Starter Motor Pack, aims to provide additional support."

Let’s Drive is an associate company of Mentor.
