Maidstone-based Haynes Ford was the first Ford dealer in the country to sell a car using a new online customer application system.

Mum of two Edem Onofeghara was able to specify her new Ford Fiesta and arrange all the details via ford.co.uk while at home with her new baby.

Haynes Ford then prepared the Fiesta for collection a few days later.

To celebrate the first ever use of the new web facility, Ford Credit regional manager Tony Jacques, right, and Andrew Haynes presented Haynes Ford with a plaque and Mrs Onofeghara with a new integrated satellite navigation system for her car.
