Stage Door Theatre Company is to stage Rent the Musical at the Granville Theatre in Ramsgate, starting on Wednesday March 11.

Set in New York City’s East Village, Rent is an imaginative retelling of the classic Puccini opera, La Boheme.

It’s the unforgettable story of a group of young artists learning to survive, falling in love, finding their voices and living for today. It was nominated for ten Tony Awards in 1996.

Tickets are selling fast for what will be one of the first performances of the show since it finished its successful run on Broadway.
