A pervert who sexually abused two girls in offences dating back several years has been jailed for seven years.
A judge described the offences committed by Carl Foskett as a "nightmare scenario" involving gross behaviour.
The 47-year-old, of Gorse Avenue, Chatham, denied nine charges of indecent assault and nine of indecency with a child.
Sarah Lindop, prosecuting, said Foskett was living in Maidstone when he behaved inappropriately with the first girl.
Her mother found a piece of paper in 2002 accusing Foskett, who was working as a security guard, of abusing her.
It was reported to the police and she made a statement, telling how Foskett would touch her and simulate sex with her. He was arrested but not then charged.
The other girl reported that Foskett, who also worked as a carpet fitter, had abused her.
"She was rewarded financially if she did what he wanted," said the prosecutor.
The girl eventually told her boyfriend about the abuse in a text message in 2009. He told her mother and she reported it to the police.
"As a result of the similarities of what she was saying he did to her, he was rearrested over the other matters and charged," said Miss Lindop.
"He exercised his right to remain silent and offered no explanation to what was being alleged by these two women."
Foskett was jailed in 2006 after admitting indecency with a girl.
Judge Michael Carroll said it was a single act "far removed from this nightmare scenario of what he did to these two girls".
He told Foskett: "You have been convicted on overwhelming evidence of these grossly abusive offences.
"You believed rightly they would not report it to another adult.
"There was coercion, although to their credit they did not say they were scared.
"They really did not know what you were doing was wrong. It shows the level of harm you have wreaked."
A sexual offences prevention order was imposed and Foskett was placed on the sex offenders' register for life.
