Nissan has unveiled its latest generation Qashqai, and you’ll be able to get your hands on one from February 2014.
With bold claims of having reinvented its crossover model, Nissan is boasting of low emissions and fuel consumption figures plus the inclusion of high levels of safety-related technology for its new car.
Both front and all-wheel drive variants will be available alongside sub-100g/CO2 models, while the entire range benefits from a substantial weight loss programme.
A full suite of intelligent safety features, such as traffic sign recognition, lane departure warning and high beam assist will be available, plus increased luggage carrying capacity and a greater focus on refinement and driving dynamics.
Designed and developed in Europe to accommodate the tastes of European buyers, the Qashqai will be the primary car built at Nissan’s Sunderland plant alongside the firm’s Note, Juke and Leaf.
