If you're off to a Christmas party this weekend - leave the car behind.
That's the message from Kent Police to any drivers thinking of getting behind the wheel after a drink.
Friday night is expected to be the biggest office party night of the festive season - but police have already arrested more than 140 motorists for being over the drink-drive limit across the county.
Last weekend, 11 people were arrested in Maidstone alone.
Officers in Medway are urging party-goers to nominate a designated driver on a night out.
And in Shepway, the police are handing out replica breathalysers to anyone who has to take the test in the hope they will attach it to their key fob as a reminder.
Sgt John Merritt, from Shepway district council's community safety unit, had this advice for people: "Don't even have one drink.
"If you know you're going to drink make sure you have a safe way of getting home."
