Footage of a seagull hopping off a highspeed train onto a platform after appearing to have rested its wings has gone viral.
The bird filmed at a Kent station is causing a flap on social media with its escapades praised almost a million times.
The seabird can be seen coming round the corner and up to the carriage doors, before casually hopping off onto the platform.
The Southeastern train door closes behind the gull before the filmmaker’s adjacent carriage pulls away.
One video of the bird’s antics has gathered almost one million likes on Instagram reels.
It has been shared countless times on TikTok with the caption: “Bro had enough of flying.”
One copy of the clip - shared by the account Whistle to its seven million followers - was viewed more than 34 thousand times.
Southeastern was equally amused by their squawking passenger, adding: “Our highspeed trains might not have wings, but even seagulls know they’re the best way to travel.
“However, we would like to advise customers to keep a close hold of their snacks and drinks while travelling with our flying friends.”
It’s not the first time a winged creature has ruffled some feathers in Kent.
In Ramsgate, a jogger was taken by surprise after spotting a Guillemot on the beach exclaiming: “Is that a f****** penguin?”
Last week, an emu went on the run through a Sittingbourne village.
Thankfully, the big bird was brought safely back home.
