POLICE wearing stab vests and riot gear broke down two front doors during a midday drugs raid.

One man was arrested following the raids in Senacre, Maidstone, on Tuesday.

The operation was carried out after reports of anti-social behaviour and late night calls at the neighbouring flats.

A sniffer dog was sent in to search out minute quantities of illegal substances, although nothing was found in one of the properties.

Roofer Cieren Higgins, of Senacre Square, Senacre, was charged with possession of cannabis following the execution of the warrant.

He has been bailed to appear at Maidstone Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
