There are lengthy delays at the Dartford Crossing this evening due to a broken-down vehicle.

Queues are building on the approach to the tunnels - which link Kent to Essex - with the situation not helped after an earlier closure of one of the tunnels this evening, which has since been reopened, but left lengthy queues.

At its peak, the early problems were causing delays of around 45 minutes.

As of 8pm, two lanes were closed due to a broken down vehicle on the M25 anticlockwise at Junction 2 for the A2 at the Darenth Interchange.
