Part of the M2 was closed on Wednesday afternoon after a lorry carrying domestic goods overturned.

One lane and the hard shoulder of the motorway were shut for several hours on the coastbound carriageway between junction two for Rochester and junction three for Chatham.

The slip road at junction two was also closed.

The HGV driver suffered minor injuries in the accident, which happened just after 2.45pm.
