Pair in court on class A drugs charges

TWO men will appear before magistrates charged with drug offences after a series of police raids in the county.

Anthony Edgley, 27, or Caravan park, Warden Road, Eastchurch, Sheppey, is accused of possession with intent to supply cocaine, while 38-year-old Lee Mills of Homeview Terrace, Sittingbourne, is charged with possession of heroin with intent to supply, and possession of class C drugs with intent to supply.

Both are due at Sittingbourne Magistrates' Court on Friday.

They were arrested along with five other people after police raided a number of addresses in Sheerness, Warden Bay, Minster and Sittingbourne in the last two weeks.

During the raids, police say a significant number of drugs and cash were seized.

The other people arrested have all been bailed.
