TWO men denied murder of a man discovered fatally injured in public toilets when they appeared in court on Thursday.

Duncan Shelbourne, 45, of Dalby Square, Cliftonville, and Kyle Eames, 21, of no fixed address, pleaded not guilty to murdering Alan Parker in March.

Mr Parker, 44, of Surrey Road, Cliftonville, was found in the toilets in Fifth Avenue, Walpole Bay, with multiple head injuries in January. He died later in hospital.

Shelbourne and Eames were expected to stand trial in February next year.

However, a new trial date of September 1 was fixed by Judge Andrew Patience QC during Thursday's hearing at Maidstone Crown Court.

Both men were remanded in custody.
