Paul Millman has decided to take early retirement after 10 years at Kent County Cricket Club, it has been announced.

Mr Millman's decision, which comes into effect immediately, is said to be for personal reasons.

A club spokesman said: "The club is grateful for his efforts over the past 10 years and wishes him a long and happy retirement.

"With immediate effect, Jamie Clifford will be appointed as acting chief executive whilst the club reviews its options and seeks applicants for the role."
