A woman remains in a critical condition after being hit by a car at Bluewater.

The 65-year-old was walking through a multi-storey car park at around 3pm yesterday when she and another woman were struck by a silver Vauxhall Zafira.

The car also collided with four parked vehicles on the ground floor of the undercover car park.

The woman, who is from the Bexleyheath area, suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to a London hospital after being treated by paramedics at the scene.

She is understood to have suffered head, chest and abdominal injuries.

Police said the second woman had minor injuries and was released after hospital treatment.
