Pensioner killed in road tragedy is named

POLICE have released the identity of a 90-year-old pensioner killed in a road accident in Cranbrook.

He was Leslie Neal, of Dorothy Avenue, Cranbrook, who died on Tuesday, November 15. Mr Neal was in collision with a Fiat van on Hartley Road, the A229.

An inquest into his death has been opened and adjourned by the West Kent Coroner, Roger Hatch.
