Charlton demolished promotion rivals Peterborough with a resounding 5-1 victory in League 1 at London Road on Saturday.
A brace each for Johnnie Jackson and substitute Lee Martin were added to by a fine goal from Therry Racon.
The visitors, who moved up into the second automatic promotion place, had the game sewn up by half-time as they raced into a 4-0.
Jackson gave Phil Parkinson’s (pictured) side the lead when he scored a 14 minute penalty, after Scott Wagstaff had been brought down in the area.
Racon drove in a powerful shot for the second, before Jackson was on target again and Martin finished well for the fourth.
Grant McCann pulled a goal back for the home side early in the second half, before Martin capitalised on Lewin Nyatanga’s poor back pass to score the fifth.
