PIAGGIO has launched a limited edition Typhoon 50cc.

As one of the UK’s most popular scooters among the youth market, Piaggio has produced 150 special edition Typhoons, boasting new graphics and chunky red alloy wheels.

The Typhoon has become an urban favourite, with an aggressive street attitude and performance to match. Its strength and reliability have made it a big success with 16 to 24-year-olds.

The Typhoon is available at £1,399 on the road and is included in Piaggio’s insurance offer which is designed to make scootering even more affordable.

The company is offering £199 one-year third party fire and theft insurance for the 16 to 24-year age bracket on 50cc models, including the top-selling Zip and the NRG. This offer runs until September 30 and is available from all authorised Piaggio dealers.

The Typhoon also comes fitted and protected with Datatag.
