The Spitfires suffered a nine-wicket defeat at the hands of Somerset on Friday before a rain-hit 20-run defeat in a five-over slog against Hampshire on Sunday.

Michael Lumb and Jimmy Adams shared eight sixes in nine balls as Hants posted 78-1 from their five overs, and a slow start from the hosts meant that Darren Stevens' swashbuckling reply was in vain.
