Plane crash lands on marshland

TWO people were lucky to escape unhurt after a light aircraft crash landed in the county.

The plane was forced to make an emergency landing on marshland north of the Isle of Grain in Medway at around 5.45pm on Saturday.

Emergency services went to the scene and the two occupents of the aircraft were safely rescued.
