A light aircraft, believed to have five people on board, crashed into houses in Kent this afternoon. The plane, believed to be a Cessna, crashed in Broadwater Gardens, Farnborough, near Biggin Hill.

It is thought the two houses were unoccupied at the time. People had to flee from neighbouring homes.

People reported a huge explosion when the plane hit the houses.
