FIRE services were put on alert at London Manston Airport following reports of a light aircraft with engine trouble.
A spokesman for the airport said: “A light aircraft landed safely at London Manston Airport on Monday following reports of a rough running engine.
"As a standard procedure the local authority fire brigade attended to support airport fire teams."
