POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a fight which left a man with a broken jaw.
The incident outside Ferrari’s Restaurant on Bexley High Street involved up to seven people on Friday night, April 4, shortly before midnight.
A 21-year-old man from Bexleyheath suffered a fractured jaw and was taken to Queen Mary’s Hospital in Sidcup. A 20-year-old man also received bruising to his face but did not require medical treatment.
The men had been out in Bar Lorca and been walking back via Bexley Station before the fight broke out.
Det Sgt Graham Scott said: “The circumstances of this incident are being fully investigated. I am appealing to anyone who was in Bexley High Street, close to the War Memorial, who thinks they may have seen or heard anything or can provide a description of the assailants to call Bexley Police.
“All information will be treated in the strictest of confidence.”
