Police appeal after fatal crash on M20

KENT Police are appealing for information following a fatal crash on the M20 which claimed the life a middle-aged woman.

The crash happened on Thursday, March 30, at about 6pm on the London bound carriageway of the motorway near Wrotham.

Police say a green Renault Megane appears to have stopped in lane two of the carriageway, just past junction two on the motorway. A Mercedes Vito van then appears to have collided with the Renault Megane.

The driver and two passengers in the Mercedes van, along with the passenger in the Megane, were taken to Queen Mary’s hospital at Sidcup.

The driver of the Renault Megane, a 50-year-old woman from Essex, was airlifted to Maidstone Hospital where she was pronounced dead on arrival. She has not yet been named.
