Police investigate the discovery of a body this morning.

The body of a man has been discovered at Barming Railway Station.

Kent Police and British Transport Police were called to the station, in Hermitage Road, at 8.50am Tuesday morning .

They are now investigating the incident.

Up to eight Kent and British Transport police cars were seen at the station.

Police are not treating the death as suspicious and the coroner’s office has been notified.

At this time no further details of the man are being released.

Southeastern said train services had not been affected by the incident.
