A 13-year-old girl who went missing yesterday afternoon has been found safe and well.

Alisha Yarnell-Stone was last seen near her parents' address at Church Marshes in Sittingbourne at as she walked towards Sittingbourne town centre.

Police were concerned for the girl as she is diabetic and was not thought to have taken her medication with her.

But she turned up at 2.30pm this afternoon in Sittingbourne High Street and was brought to the police station to be reunited with her parents.

She was checked over by ambulance crews to assess her blood sugar levels.
