A spotty thug punched a youth in the face and pushed another down the stairs of a footbridge.
The acne-ridden attacker, who had demanded money and a mobile phone, fled after a passer-by disturbed him.
The incident happened on the Essella Road footbridge in Ashford when the victims noticed someone following them as they walked.
At the top of the steps they were confronted by a man who kicked one youth and pushed him down the stairs.
The offender then threatened the second victim, a 17-year-old, demanding his money and phone, and then punched him in the face.
A passer-by walking towards the incident disturbed the thug who then ran off towards Osbourne Road.
The incident happened at 11pm on Friday, December 10.
Police are looking for a suspect described as white, aged 18 to 19, 5ft 8in to 6ft 1in tall, slim and with short straight, light brown hair.
At the time he was wearing a black body warmer with no sleeves with a dark long sleeved top underneath, dark trousers and a black woollen hat.
Police have issued an e-fit of the suspect and witnesses should contact them on 01622 690 690.
