Police have cordoned off an area of a recreation ground after a woman claimed she was sexually assaulted.

Few details of the incident have been released by police who say they were contacted at about 9.30pm Tuesday by a woman who told them she had been assaulted earlier in the day.

A section of Jackson's Field in Rochester has been cordoned off by police, near to New Road and the Star Hill roundabout, so forensic officers can carry out an investigation.
