A MOTORCYCLIST who died after his Suzuki hit a parked Range Rover near his home in Northdown Road, Cliftonville, Margate, has been named as 30-year-old Jason Brown.

Mr Brown was thrown from the 750cc bike which then caught fire. Paramedics treated him at the accident scene in Northdown Road but he died from his injuries later at the Queen Mother Hospital, Margate. A post mortem was carried out on last Friday.

An inquest will be held by coroner Rebecca Cobb. The accident happened near the junction with Edgar Road on Tuesday of last week.
