A WOMAN motorist killed in a road crash near the Kingsferry Bridge on Sheppey during the Easter holiday has been identified by police as Vikki Keane, a 43-year-old Londoner.

Miss Keane died after her red Ford Fiesta collided head-on with a blue Ford Maverick on the A249 just before 12.30pm on Easter Monday. The road was closed four more than four hours.

Police have traced a driver who was seen speaking to Miss Keane before her death following an appeal in the Sheerness Times Guardian newspaper.

An inquest into Miss Keane's death is to be conducted by the North Kent coroner Roger Sykes.
