Police officer hurt in two-car crash

A WOMAN police officer suffered whiplash and a minor injury when a Skoda Octavia in which she was a passenger was involved in a two-car collision.

The incident happened in Luton Road, Luton, Chatham, at the junction with Bank Street, at around 10.25pm on Thursday (February 22)).

The 33-year-old driver of the other car, a Peugeot, suffered minor head injuries.

A Kent Police spokeswoman said: "In line with police policy the serious collision investigation unit is investigating the collision and asking any witnesses to come forward."
