Police release new image in search for Hamish missing from Canterbury for more than a week

Police have released a new image in the search for a man missing for more than a week.

Hamish McEwan was sighted in the Oaten Hill area of Canterbury on October 17.

Police released an appeal to help find the 53-year-old on Wednesday (October 23).

Now, officers have released a second image of Mr McEwan as they continue the search.

He is described as around 5ft 7ins, with dark hair, a beard and glasses.

Mr McEwan is believed to have been wearing a cream cardigan, black cap and black jeans when last seen.

A police spokesperson said: “Officers are concerned for his welfare and urge anyone who has seen him to call 999 quoting 19-0310.”
