The woman found dead on the beach at Cliftonville has been named as Louisa Tagney, 38, of Nightingale Place, Margate.

Police have said that she drowned. Her death is not being treated as suspicious.

Ms Tagney's body was found on the beach near the Oval bandstand in Eastern Esplanade, on Monday. An inquest has been opened by Thanet Coroner Rebecca Cobb.
