Police seek 'good samaritans' after alleged kidnap

Police are appealing for a man and woman who helped the victim of a serious assault in Medway to contact them.

Three men have been charged with grievous bodily harm and kidnap following an alleged incident that occurred around 7:30pm on Thursday, April 10 2008.

Shortly afterwards a red Vauxhall Astra being driven by a male with a female passenger stopped and took the victim to Medway Maritime hospital.

Det Sgt Dan Smith said: "This was a serious but isolated assault and we would like whoever picked the man up and took him to hospital to come forward.

"These ‘Good Samaritan’s’ are in no way connected with this incident but they could hold important information."
