Engineers are continuing to attempt to restore power to homes and businesses from Queenborough Corner to Halfway following damage to an underground cable.

Power to 1,372 premises was lost at 9.21am today.

EDF Energy Networks engineers restored supplies to 623 customers at 9.44am and to 717 at 10.30am.

Work is continuing to repair the fault and restore power to the remaining 32 customers.
