SUZUKI GB delivered an early Christmas present to motorcyclists at the recent International Motorcycle Show in Birmingham, with the announcement of a major new pricing initiative.
With immediate effect, the MCN award-winning manufacturer is introducing a straightforward price reduction on eight of its best-selling motorcycles.
The new pricing structure is intended to stay constant for the duration of 2003 so will not be the subject of a here today, gone tomorrow campaign nor will it involve a lengthy wait in the form of a cash back bonus. It is simply a firm price listed reduction and Suzuki believes it will help to bring some price stability back into the motorcycle market.
The GSX-R600, MCN’s Best Sportsbike Under 601cc of 2002, and the DR-Z400S, MCN Trailbike of the Year, now offer even better value and the GSF600 Bandit is reborn with a retail price less than its original launch price.
At the introductory level, the dark horse of the Suzuki range, the GS500, offers fun and reliability for under £3,000 (plus on-the-road charges).
The machines included in Suzuki’s price restructure represent a selection of the most popular bikes in the Suzuki range. In addition to offering a welcome saving at the point of purchase, they will continue to be sold with an unlimited mileage, two year warranty plus free 12 months’ AA roadside recovery and Alpha.dot security marking.
Speaking from the NEC, Nick Barnes, general manager of motorcycle sales said: “We constantly strive to reward the Suzuki customer and over the years have adopted a number of successful incentives.”
