Cathy Pullen, a community liaison officer at Bligh Children’s Centre in Strood, has been nominated for a community involvement award by mother-of-four Jenny Than Tin, of Darnley Road, Strood.

Mrs Than Tin said: “Cathy started working at Sure Start the same week that I had my fourth child, when we had only just moved to the area. Since there, she has helped our family no end.

“Cathy always goes out of her way to help everybody. I know she is greatly appreciated by all the mums.”
