PRINCESS Anne made a brief visit to Kent on Tuesday to meet disabled people and those who care for them.

After landing at Headcorn Aerodrome in a helicopter of the Queen's flight, the Princess Royal was driven to the Weald of Kent Golf Club, Headcorn.

She was accompanied by the Lord Lieutenant of Kent Allan Willett.

Wearing a bright red jacket, blue skirt and black boots, the Princess was attending a service users and carers' seminar.

Held every year, it was hosted by Kent County Council's occupational therapy bureau.

The Princess was there in her role as patron of the College of Occupational Therapists.
