A hi-tech printing business has made it a clean sweep of awards.
Balreed, based in Maidstone and with offices across the UK, was named outstanding dealer in the Konica Minolta awards. The leading independent provider of managed print services received the top award in every category, as well as the prestigious Blue Ribbon award, at a ceremony in Celtic Manor, South Wales.
Balreed has been a Konica Minolta partner since 2005 and provides print solutions to a wide range of businesses.
“Balreed are visionary, expansive and progressive as a business and we are delighted to have them as a key part of our Partner Network,” said Neil Dingley, Konica Minolta’s managing director. “Not only did they conclude the year as our top dealer in hardware revenue growth, but backed this award up by winning first place for unit growth on the previous year as well. As a result of their success, they won a host of trophies.”
Balreed’s group managing director Robin Stanton-Gleaves said: “I am delighted that Balreed has performed so strongly and continued to grow in a marketplace with increased competition and reducing budgets. What Balreed continue to offer is consistent innovation and unrivalled client care, and I am very pleased that Konica Minolta has recognised our achievements publicly and our expertise in both the office and the production print environments.”
Mark Lloyd, director of indirect channels at Konica Minolta, added: “Since Balreed were appointed in 2005, they have consistently grown their business levels each year. Last year, they achieved a remarkable 1,000 units that generated significant revenue spend. Their results represent a phenomenal trading year and a seven-figure increase in spend.”
