DISGRACED politician Lord Archer may be moved to Standford Hill Prison, Eastchurch.
A national Sunday newspaper says it is one of three open prisons under consideration for the peer, who is serving a four-year sentence for perjury and perverting the course of justice.
The Sunday Telegraph says the others are Springhill, Buckinghamshire, and Leyhill, Gloucestershire.
But it quotes Prison Service sources as saying they would prefer Lord Archer to go to Standford Hill as it has its own farm where he could work without being allowed off-site.
Lord Archer is currently in higher category Lincoln Prison where he was sent after breaching home-leave rules. A Prison Service press spokesperson said: "We don't comment on movements of prisoners before they are moved."
