POLICE are investigating after the body of a 25-year-old man was found on a patch of Kent marshland.

The man, who is not local to Kent, is thought to have been base-jumping on Greenhithe Marshes, off Manor Way in Swanscombe when he died during the early hours of Sunday morning.

Police inquiries are continuing to find the exact circumstances surrounding the incident although the death is not believed to be suspicious.
