Don't be too surprised if you spot a bright pink camper van touring the streets of Thanet today.

The colourful retro vehicle is part of a nationwide survey by the Tenant Services Authority, designed to find out what local people really think of their landlords.

Residents can hop on board and spill the beans inside a special film 'pod', where they can record a video that will be placed on TSA's website and uploaded to YouTube.

They can also give their verdicts and discuss the areas of service most important to them in a face-to-face meeting with one of the regulator's team of advisors.

Rhona Nicholson, TSA project director, said: "People can talk openly and honestly about any housing issues that are important to them but that they may not want to discuss with their landlords.

"Not everyone wants to be consulted by a questionnaire so we wanted to do something a little different and unusual.

"We think this will help us reach more people, particularly the younger generation, who perhaps don't want to attend a meeting."

The camper van rolls into the Newington Community Centre, Ramsgate at 10am and Brunswick Court, Hardres Street, Ramsgate at 11.45am.

It then trundles on to Cecil Square, Margate at 2pm and Mere Gate, Margate at 3.15pm.
