Protesters have again clashed with police at the climate camp in Hoo.

At around 3.40pm on Wednesday trouble flared, when police tried to stop and search campers entering and leaving the site in Dux Court Road.

According to reporters on the scene about 30 to 40 protesters refused to be searched.

Around seven of them sat down in the middle of the road, refusing to be moved.

It is believed one demonstrator was arrested.
