Proton has announced that it is reducing the price of its popular Satria Neo models, offering a saving of £1,700 to buyers.

The Satria Neo features electric windows, reverse parking sensors and rear spoiler, all as standard, plus a centre mounted exhaust and race-inspired bucket seats.

The Satria Neo also comes with ABS, EBD and twin airbags as standard.

Previously prices started at £10,195 for the entry level 1.6 GSX variant, however with the reduction this is now £8,495.

The range-topping 1.6 Sport auto is now £10,295, down from £11,995.
