Pub told to close after seeking adjournment

A SIDCUP pub will remain shut until a licence review takes place next year.

The Blue Rose, also known as the Black Horse in High Street, Sidcup, will not be serving a single pint until the licensing review meeting at Bexley council takes place on January, 16.

Owners asked to adjourn the review, which was meant to take place today, and were granted their request by the committee on the grounds they remain shut.

Police recommended the review of the pub's licence after complaints about disturbance and loud noise and other alleged licence breaches.
