Punk event set to make waves on harbour arm

Anarchy at the Seaside returns to Margate on Sunday, July 20, when punk music on the pier is provided by Retox who will play songs from The Sex Pistols to The Ramones.

The event starts at midday and also features a top DJ, with music due to run through to early evening.

It follows the successful recent Sunday session at the harbour arm with ska, reggae and northern soul music.

Event spokesman Steve DIY said: “We couldn’t have wished for a better day for the first show and it proves that we can put on events on the harbour arm without any fuss whatsoever.

“Everyone who passed through during the day had a really good time, and the bar being drunk dry was proof of that.”
