Japanese car maker Nissan has revealed that its British-designed, engineered and built Qashqai has been a massive success in the UK.
It has secured a spot in the top 10 best sellers list.
According to the firm it's not just the British who love the car, as the crossover has just passed the one million sales mark worldwide after just four years in production.
Updated in March 2010 with refreshed design and improved fuel economy and CO2 emissions, it has been a mainstay of Nissan's European line-up for four consecutive years.
More than 800,000 of the one million Qashqais have been made in Sunderland.
