A CASH machine was stolen from a bank in Northfleet early today. Thieves ram-raided the Woolwich in Perry Street and grabbed the ATM machine from the wall.

It is thought they used a JCB. The incident took place at around 3am. The amount of money in the machine is currently unknown.

It is the second cash machine theft to take place in the borough of Gravesham this month.
