No charges will be brought after an allegation of rape in Maidstone.

Police cordoned off a park in the town centre after the allegation was made last week.

The alleged incident was said to have happened in Trinity Park, Church Street, Maidstone, at around midnight on Thursday.

Following an investigation, police confirmed today that they will be taking no further action.
