A man has been charged with a rape dating back more than 20 years.

Martin Eke, 46, from Douglas Road in Tonbridge is due to appear before Folkestone magistrates on April 14 after being charged with the sex attack on a 22-year-old woman in October 1986.

It follows an investigation by the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate Cold Case Investigation Team.
