Faversham Town boss Ray Turner will continue his preparations for next season with a series of player meetings this week.
The newly-installed Lilywhites boss revealed he and assistant Clive Walker "have been given a general budget to work to" for the coming campaign in Ryman League, Division 1 South.
Turner (pictured) said: "We know what we’ve got to work with. It is the usual scene at this time of year. We are trying to talk to players this week and are meeting a few of them.
"As far as myself and Clive are concerned, we want to keep the squad together as much as possible.
"You never know what’s going to happen. We might lose a couple of them but we’ve already identified a couple of others we’re looking at."
Turner was also delighted with the turn out for the club’s trials for under-18s to form a new Ryman League Youth team next season.
He said: "It is important that we build the structure of the club. We need to develop and produce players and can’t always go out and bring players in from outside.
"It’s easy to be seduced by names playing elsewhere and overlook players who might be under your nose."
